Sun Tzu, The Art of PR - stuartbruce

One of the great things about a PDA (I have a Palm Tungsten T) is that you can store and carry around dozens of useful and interesting books to peruse whenever you have the odd five minutes between meetings.

For me one of these texts is Sun Tzu's The Art of War. Despite being written more than 3,000 years ago it still contains many useful insights into conducting business, public relations or politics in the modern world.

At some point in the near future I'm going to try and create a NetworxPR branded PDF copy of it for people to download for free.

I've read Sun Tzu's The Art of War theories, and being Chinese myself, I suppose I do have a better grasp of the meanings as so written. I don't quite agree on the translation of the actual Chinese phrases sometimes, but having said that, it is not the easiest task to translate Chinese into English.
Another great book to read would be "What Would Buddha Do at Work" by Franz Metcalf & BJ Gallagher. Don't judge the book by its cheesy title. On the contrary, I find the book one of the best business related ones I've read so far. Very insightful. Sure beats Who Move My Cheese by you know who.
