Tom Murphy at PR Opinions is again promoting RSS as a powerful new tool for public relations professionals. I agree with him, but think there is still some way to go before there are enough people using it.

Stuart, Do you think RSS will become a more viable PR tool as people become more disciplined about writing their blogs? I think we're all guilty of starting with the best of intentions and then - when no one writes or responds for days/weeks/months at a time - we, too, loose interest and stop posting. mike - that example provides the perfect case for rss. feeds are easy to subscribe to. over time, you might organize the less frequent posters of relevant content into a special folder so they do not clutter your reader. but the beauty of rss means not having to visit these sites, their content comes to you...albeit less frequently. cheers
