What are RSS, web feed, XML and Atom?

Enterprising PR student Stephen Davies has written a good introduction to it all, which he has very kindly let me link to. Thanks Stephen.

If you still need to know more then the BBC has an another good explanation, where you can also easily subscribe to many of the BBC's best feeds.

Web Feed Options

FeedBurner - my main RSS feed. You don't need to worry about choosing between complex acronyms such as RSS, Atom and XML (or Double Dutch!).


Just drag this feed into your news reader or in Explorer right click and select 'Copy shortcut' and then paste it into your news reader as a new feed.

 

If you use a web-based news aggregator then you can simply click on your appropriate choice below.
